About the Attorney

Justin Klein is an attorney with extensive experience in appeals and brief writing. He founded this practice in order to focus on assisting clients and fellow attorneys with complex and high-stakes appellate matters, dispositive motions, legal writing, and research.

Mr. Klein was admitted to the bar in 2009 and began his legal career clerking for the Hon. Thomas F. Scully, P.J.Cr., the Presiding Criminal Judge of the New Jersey Superior Court, Monmouth Vicinage in Freehold.  He composed bench memoranda regarding Drug Court appeals, interlocutory municipal appeals, PCR applications, and other criminal practice motions.  

He then worked for 11 years at a high-profile personal injury and criminal defense litigation firm in Monmouth County, focusing on appeals, motions, brief writing, and depositions.  He has written extensive briefs in fields ranging from insurance coverage and personal injury to class actions, toxic torts, and criminal matters.

Mr. Klein has been privileged to write briefs and argue before appellate and trial courts throughout New Jersey and beyond, including the New Jersey Supreme Court and Appellate Division, the New York Appellate Division (4th Dep’t), and the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. As pro hac vice counsel, he has written and argued before the Supreme Court of New York, Erie County; the Superior Court of Delaware, Newcastle County; the United States District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania; and the Fourth Judicial Circuit Court for the State of Florida (Duval County, Jacksonville).
